The top is treated with Martin’s VTS (Vintage Tone System) to accelerate the aging of the spruce for an opened-up, mature tonal character—more complexity and punch than typical new spruce tops—while the rosewood back and sides deliver strong low-end, clear trebles and the classic rosewood-spruce balance.
