The body is alder finished in Lake Placid Blue with a double parchment binding and a vintage-style bridge, weighing 7 lbs 12 oz. Tone and feel are shaped by a 3A roasted flame maple neck with a Medium C profile, clear satin neck/headstock finish, and a rosewood fingerboard radiused at 9.5" with 21 6105 frets. Aging is applied moderately across body, neck (knock-back gloss), and hardware for a gently played-in look; the instrument also carries an engraved custom neck plate noting builder Chris Fleming #11 designation.
