Aged look has been one of the hot trends in guitars already for quite a while. I wanted to offer my own twist to this genre – a finish that would feel aged, but still would be unique.
So we ended up developing a very special method to make the grain structure feel and look worn down and embossed – boosted – in a very natural way. I call it the Bare Bone finish – and it became first available for the Unicorn Supersonic.
Another elemental feature worth mentioning is the new wraparound bridge solution we came up with. The bridge itself is the super lightweight ABM 3024 unit made of aluminium, complete with custom made saddles with wider/rounder contact point than their stock saddles.
Instead of the ABM stock studs, I have locking studs made for us by my friends Jason and Elizabeth Schroeder.
