1969/70 Gibson SG Vintage Cherry

Here's another original vintage Gibson guitar to drool over!  

This '69/70 Gibson SG is a winner with its tone.  The checking vibe it has is spot on.  She's in great shape and there has never been any breaks or body repairs done on this guitar.  All of the parts are original, with the exception of a replacement vibrola arm, as is the hard case but it's missing its handle and has a DIY solution.  

This "Large Guard" features a very chunky neck, the transitional "small bump" volute, nylon saddles, witch hat knobs and the Maestro Vibrola system. The serial number and appointments, including the lack of a "Made in USA" stamp, point to a 1969 build, however the pots date to very early 1970.
