Purchased by owner of Watchtower Guitars as a personal instrument in August 2009 from the legendary Rudy's Music Stop back on 48th St NYC - with eyes wide open. Jumping at the chance to own an affordable vintage instruments, we carefully examined the issues this 'hippy natural' refin clearly has. Note repaired crack by E tuner, heel crack, and completely "fugazi" painted on logo. Please examine pics closely, You can see it was originally Candy Apple Red before being stripped natural.
On very positive notes, it's been played (a lot) for the past 10 years with absolutely no stability issues. Original pickup, one pot dates to '66, the other to '75 (not uncommon in a utilitarian era, when one went bad). This P Bass not only looks super cool, it's got the tone we all have in our heads.
