1966 Fender Jazzmaster * Original Custom Color* Ice Blue Metallic

This vintage 1966 Fender Jazzmaster in original Ice Blue Metallic with matching headstock is an all-original, well-preserved example purchased from the first owner who bought it new at Manny’s Music (NYC) in 1966. The instrument shows minimal play wear.  He used it briefly and then stored the guitar for decades; the original finish has not faded. It retains period-correct hardware and appointments: Jazzmaster offset body, floating tremolo with tremolo arm, original bridge cover, and original hard shell case (Fender logo missing on case). The sale includes the original owner’s manual and accessories.

Spec-wise this is a 1966 Jazzmaster with its alder body, maple neck with slab rosewood fingerboard (date-specific boards varied), single-coil Jazzmaster pickups, rhythm/lead circuit with roller thumbwheel controls, adjustable bridge and floating tremolo bridge system. Exact serial (129079) shown and neck/heel dates are also shown to the confirm factory dating. Features:
